As of version 4.0 of its market leading MX line of telephone systems, Zultys has added support for Aastra SIP telephones including Aastra's new 5 series phones.
Aastra 57i Phone
Aastra 5 series phones are high quality and high technology from the ground up. The 57i's (shown above) features include 12 programmable buttons, 4 call appearances, an XML programming API, and a robust full-duplex speakerphone.
Busy Lamp Field Buttons
Busy Lamp Field (BLF) is the original "Presence on a Button" feature that has been popular with receptionists and executive/executive assistant pairs for many years. Aastra also uses this type of button as a "Shared Appearence" such that calls for a user can optionally ring and be answered by users with that user's BLF button on their phone.BLF buttons are programmed on the Zultys system straight from the Admin User Interface and are automatically added to the phones. Zultys also supports Aastra's "sidecar" modules to add more buttons to phone.
XML Applications
Aastra's XML Application programming interface gives developers the ability to target vertical markets by allowing them to extend the phones' button functionality to interact with data from network sources such as databases and web sites.
