Z-Connect (NAT Traversal for SIP) - Supports remote users to connecting directly to the MX phone system without the need to set up a complex VPN or other specialized network configuration. Third-party phone integration - This enables tighter integration (paging, park, pick-up, provisioning and busy lamp indication) with third-party SIP phones manufactured by leading companies like Aastra Telecom and Polycom.
Software Patch Manager - The installation, removal and management of firmware patches for MX products are now facilitated through the MX Admin UI. This represents a major advantage for VARs, end users, and anyone responsible for maintaining the MX product by making it easy to keep the operating software at its most current level.
